Celebrate Halloween at Jersey City’s Halloween BashBY Editor, October 29, 2015
Halloween is just a few days away, and Jersey City is ready to celebrate! Don’t have any plans yet? That is not a problem for our Liberty Towers residents as Jersey City is hosting their very own Halloween extravaganza, as well as several other surrounding neighborhoods hosting fun events for the holiday weekend!
The Jersey City Family Halloween Bash will take place this Saturday, October 31st on Newark Avenue. From 2pm-6pm enjoy all the fun with other local New Jersey residents. This event which is free for everyone will kick off with a parade that children can take part in. Costumes are welcomed and encouraged! After there will be plenty of games, face painting and several different other arts and crafts stations set up throughout the street. There will also be a bounce castle set up and pumpkin painting which will feature new and special henna paining to decorate your pumpkin.
Refreshments will also be available for visitors to try from local Jersey City favorites. Ice cream from Torico’s, baked goods from Sugartown Bakery and Coca Bakery and of course lots of candy will be served for all to enjoy! If you want to learn more about this event you can look at their Facebook page for information and updates.
This event is hosted by HDSID. You can also visit their page here for updates and information about the event. If you are looking for more Halloween fun in the Jersey City area, you can also take a look at this article which features the remaining upcoming events for October.
