The Kitchen Step, A New Local Eatery Making Waves in Jersey CityBY Editor, June 29, 2016
With its grand opening just a few months ago, the Kitchen Step is already making a name for itself here in Jersey City. The fairly new eatery opened at the beginning of the spring and is just a mile away from Liberty Towers!
The owner is no stranger to New Jersey—especially Jersey City. With successful restaurants in several neighboring towns and the owner of local eatery Battello, The Kitchen Step is on its way to being just as big of a hit and local favorite. This bistro offers a smaller menu and has a more cozy feel rather than a big extravagant venues like some of his other businesses.
Kitchen Step’s menu offers a variety of sizing options that include snack dishes, small plates and large plates. Many of the dishes are inspired by French cuisine but you can expect to find a mix when browsing their menu. Some of the main dishes they serve include crispy duck confit & frisee salad, olive-crusted salmon, pomegranate chili glazed pork chop and miso-glazed portobello mushrooms. Drinks are also in abundance with a unique cocktail menu and a large selection of beer and wine.
What is most important is the delicious food that this Jersey City spot offers to our residents! Kitchen Step is open on evenings during the week, and weekends earlier for brunch. For specific hours, to make reservations and see everything they offer on the menu, you can visit both their website and Facebook page for more details.
