Zeppelin Hall of Jersey CityBY Editor, September 22, 2016
The real Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany is celebrated in both September and October, so that gives Liberty Towers Apartments residents an excuse to celebrate the beer-friendly holiday a little bit early as well. Located only five minutes from Liberty Towers is Zeppelin Hall at 88 Liberty View Dr., an authentic European-style biergarten, or outdoor space where visitors gather to drink beer, eat and socialize.
At Zeppelin Hall, there’s a full bar, rotating selection of European imports as well as American craft beers to be served on one of the 30-foot-long community tables. This neighborly environment is a great place to talk to and meet other Jersey City residents.
The biergarten has 144 beer taps, which are more than apt to flow through into your mug, liter or even flight selection of five-ounce beers. Besides alcohol, there’s also food options including specialty burgers, grilled sausage, giant pretzels and schnitzels, as well as other authentic German food.
There is no cover charge or reservations needed for Zeppelin Hall, a welcome change from other Jersey City bars and eateries. There’s also plenty of parking, especially useful for private parties hosted at the biergarten which can accommodate 20 to several hundred people.
Private parties are hosted in the venue’s Rathskellar Room and several plans are available including options of a cash or open bar as well as a buffet. Plus, kids are welcome at Zeppelin Hall until 9 p.m. Normal hours are 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday and 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
