Check out Bodies Revealed currently on exhibit at the Liberty Science CenterBY libertytowers, September 6, 2016
If you never got a chance to check out the internationally acclaimed exhibit Bodies, you’re in luck – Bodies Revealed, an exhibit of a similar concept, was unveiled in June at the Liberty Science Center at 222 Jersey City Boulevard, only 10 minutes from your Liberty Towers apartment.
This exhibit, which went on display June 18 and will remain a fixture of the Liberty Science Center until Jan. 16, shows detailed views of human anatomy, from whole body displays to individual skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine and circulatory systems. The figures, skeletons and organs in Bodies Revealed came from individuals who donated their bodies to accredited medical universities in the People’s Republic of China for the purpose of study and education.
In order to access this premium exhibit at the Liberty Science Center, you’ll need to purchase either an all-access pass for $32 per adult or a combination pass for $28 per adult.
While you’re there, don’t forget to check out some of the other current Liberty Science Center exhibits with your children, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer, which is the underground lair of the cartoon favorites or Action Zone, where visitors can test their sports skills with a high-tech simulator, rotating climbing wall and much more.
The Liberty Science Center will be closed Sept. 6 through Sept. 9 and Sept. 12 through Sept. 16 for maintenance, however, it will reopen from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
