Get Groovy in Jersey City at Groove on GroveBY Editor, May 16, 2017
Groove on Grove is a weekly music series that began in 2008 featuring a wild array musicians, performers, local businesses and sponsors. It’s held every Wednesday evening from 6-9 at the Grove Street PATH station. Did we mention they also sell alcoholic beverages and delicious food?
On May 17th Groove on Grove will highlight talented artists from the tri-state area. You’ll be able to shop from local artisans, crafters and vintage collectors. This will be a unique shopping experience with talented vendors all in one spot. Some vendors include:
Paradox Thrift – They sell upcycled, vintage jewelry with a funky flair. Parodox Thrift shop prides themselves in hunting for unique jewelry and fashion pieces which are sold at reasonable prices. We LOVE their rings and earrings and you can also find them at Asbury this summer.
Love Menu Art – Their love of vintage menu art is what got them to open their own business. The old menus are cleaned-up digitally and printed onto Moab archival paper, 100 % Cotton kitchen towels and note-cards. Their collection of menus from all over the world date from 1852 through the 1970’s.
Vegabondia Vintage – The owner of this mobile trailer strives to offer unique, accessible and timeless pieces from near and far. She sells everything from colorful vintage clothing to repurposed art and hand crafted stationary.
At the event, you’ll also enjoy live music by The Skullers (6pm), The Yeti Shivers (7pm) and Adam and The Plants (8pm).
